Voice Communication

ASE fixed mount satellite communication terminals bring always ready, always available satellite communication indoors. The voice channel can be accessible throughout the vessel when connected to your PBX or wireless base station, or can be operated locally using a corded privacy handset.

The small footprint of the corded privacy handset combined with the high quality of the voice channel, make ASE terminals an excellent installation choice for the captain's phone. For smaller vessels - using the same terminal - connect RJ11 to a wireless base station and install wireless handsets in each cabin. For larger vessels - install a terminal for crew use by connecting the RJ11 into the ship's PBX infrastructure. PIN code protection can be assigned to crew members allowing post-paid access. Prepaid (scratch-card) usage is available to everyone.

Text messaging has proven to be an extremely valuable method of concise, private communication for mariners.
