Product Overview

At Applied Satellite Engineering, we specialize in fixed station terminals. These devices put satellite connectivity on your desk where a phone belongs. You can use your existing PBX system or a standard analog phone—even a cordless unit—to make and receive Iridium calls. Which ASE unit is right for you?

9555 Docking Station
Applied Satellite Engineering, a leader in satellite communications, provides a unique solution for using your 9555 Iridium satellite phone indoors and outdoors. Just dock your Iridium phone in our docking station and you can access satellite communications with standard analog phone sets or your company’s PBX system. When you need to leave the office, just un-dock your handset and take it with you. Never be out of touch again! Learn more about the 9555 Docking Station.

ComCenter Outdoor
The ComCenter Outdoor is a feature rich data and voice unit for the Iridium network that saves time and money in materials and installation. No need to run multiple cables for voice or data. This all-in-one all weather unit only requires one cable, so you are up and running in no time. Learn more about the ComCenter Outdoor.

ComCenter
The ComCenter is an all-in-one solution for using the Iridium network from a fixed station without using a separate Iridium handset. The ComCenter interfaces with a regular analog phone or your existing PBX system to combine the convenience of standard equipment with the connectivity of satellite communications. You can even use a hands-free headset. The ComCenter also provides an RS-232 port for data communications and a SIM port for other Iridium accessories. Learn more about the ComCenter.

Docking Station
The Docking Station takes all the benefits of the ComCenter and adds one more: using an existing Iridium handset for the satellite connection. This design lets organizations with many handsets use their existing investment but gain the benefits of fixed station terminals. The Docking Station is also perfect for the user who needs to split time between the office and the field: simply dock the handset when going inside and access it using regular phone equipment, then undock the handset on the way out the door. SBDpro
For applications that don’t require voice, the SBDpro is a versatile and highly configurable data terminal. Applications range from simple GPS asset tracking to complex conditional reporting. Low power modes make it the ideal solution for remote sensor monitoring. Learn more about the SBDpro.
